The Kessler Family Adventure in Kauai

In May 2006 we took a family vacation to the island of Kauai in Hawaii.

We stayed at Waimea Plantation Cottages. This was our home for 11 nights:



We relaxed out on the Lanai and around the property:



The property has lots of natural beauty:



Of course, we spent lots of time at the beach:



We drove around Waimea Canyon, which Mark Twain called the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific":





We took part in a "traditional" Luau:



Cathy and Andy took a helicopter tour around the island with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters:





We drove up to the north side of the island to see Hanalei Bay,
where Puff the Magic Dragon lives by the sea:



And visited many of the typical spots.

We went to a farmers market in Koloa and found Apple Bananas, delicious mangos and Horned Kiwis:



We had such a great time that we want to start planning our next trip to Hawaii soon !
